  Art is universal; all cultures know of its production and consumption, and it is  found even under very miserable circumstances .   "Art is an expression of the soul" I love art because it lets you escape reality and look through the eyes of others. Its a really comforting form of self expression and the things you can learn through art are abundant! Some art has passion behind it and inspiration. Art is a way for people to be able to stretch their minds. Sometimes its the only voice the artist has.  It can dare people to look deep. It's visual poetry. I have been drawing since the age of 2. I never knew back then that drawing and painting would be major part of my life. The happiness I get from painting cannot be described. ....    

A PREQUEL TO SHOPPING   We are exactly halfway through our course and our life as an architecture student is taking a new turn as we explore pre-assumptions to wider aspects of critical thinking. This semester, our major project revolves around all aspects of shopping. We are to create our own definition about shopping, breakdown all conventional ideas that any ordinary person would have about shopping ; and channelize our thoughts into a completely new domain where it is not just a mere activity but something more - and that is where the mystery lies.   To start of with this project we were divided into different categories of shopping with several sub-divisions ranging from clothing and jewellery to provisions to pharmaceauticals. I studied about spices under the category of provisions.
